Worship Blessings

Worshiping at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church can be a blessing for you if:

You seek the assurance that Jesus died for you and want to know why it is that you cannot earn your way to heaven by just living a good life on earth.  "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast."  (Ephesians 2:8, 9)

You desire to grow in your knowledge of the scriptures.  Spiritual growth requires nourishment and God's Word provides that sustenance.

You seek God's answers and not man's answers to the problems that you face.

You want to gain the strength necessary to overcome the negative influences and temptations that want to eat away at your well-being.

You want to discover the peace, comfort and encouragement that only come from having a positive relationship with God.  You desire the peace that other Christians have in spite of their problems.

You seek the joy of meeting others with similar interests, or who may be in a situation similar to yours, in a church family atmosphere.
